Accommodation
Accommodation for athletes in Timișoara and Giroc: the ideal choice for competitions, training camps, and tournaments
For a tournament in Giroc, accommodation is near Dyadora and Trio Events: Visaj Metropolitan, Visaj Homes, or Visaj Residence.
At a competition, rest and the meal before the event matter. In Giroc, tennis tournaments are held at Dyadora Sports Club, and dancesport galas at Trio Events.
Dyadora and Trio Events
Dyadora is a tennis complex in Giroc with several courts, and hosts tournaments for children, juniors, and seniors. Trio Events organises dancesport competitions and galas, with athletes from Romania and abroad.
What matters in accommodation
- Quiet and beds you can sleep well in after the event
- Room for equipment
- Kitchen, so meals don't depend on a restaurant
- Internet, air conditioning, and parking
- Short trip to the venue, not a crossing of the city
Where an athlete or team stays
Visaj Metropolitan is the usual location: Giroc, a short trip to the venues in the area. Visaj Homes and Visaj Residence are also in Giroc, if the group needs several apartments. For a tournament here, not Torontalului and not the historic centre.
The Giroc addresses, for a stay that continues after the competition, are in Accommodation for long stays.
The planned complex on the Timișoara–Giroc border
On the border between Timișoara and Giroc, the Timiș 4 All multi-purpose complex is planned on more than 9 hectares: tennis courts, pools, a gymnastics hall, ice rink, and athletics track. Until then, competitions in the area stay at Dyadora and Trio Events.
